It was hard to remember what it write without the book next to me. Next I will make comparisons between non-fiction books.

I can equally share. Next I need to remember that sharing between 2 people is the same as halving. And half of 18 is 9.

Making a recipe

We are learning to make a recipe and give instructions. I found it easy to put all the steps in.

Publishing on Google

We are learning to publish our stories on google draw. I learned to put pictures in, and change the colour of the background and the size. 

Splitting numbers

Capital letters and full stops

We are learning to use capital letters and full stops in the write place all the way through my writing.
I found it easy to remember because I was typing. Drawing is harder. It's harder with the mouse. Next I will concentrate on using different types of punctuation like exclamation marks, ellipsis, apostrophes and commas.

Writing more than one idea

This was my lightning writing from week 1 term 2.

I am learning to write more than one idea. I like lightning writing. I write as much as I can in 10 minutes. I used a picture to give me ideas. I find it easy to write more than one idea. My ideas match the picture.

Meeting goals

I managed to work really hard to get all 5 stars on my goal! My new goal is working hard to sequence my ideas in my story writing with 'first, second and third'.

Fractions

My reflection: I am learning about fractions. I can find half of a group. It is easy to draw the symbol for 1/4. I only know 1/4 and 1/2. I need to learn more.

Compound sentences

My reflection: I am learning to write a compound sentence. I know this means using words like and, but or because. I find it a bit tricky to remember and can join a sentence as well as make a list.

My reflection: I can do all of my numbers the right way. I can find numbers before and after to 30. My next step is to learn to add numbers together to 30.
